Air

For highest milk capacity the house has to be constructed to the demand of the cows and not by the priority of the working staff. Human beings and animals differ from their temperature demand. The optimal temperature for dairy cows is + 7°C. Energy depression already starts at 17°C, meanwhile the animals can cope well with strong frost. The same applies for air circulation: air speed up to 5m/sec. is no problem for dairy cows; a lot of fresh air supports the milk capacity and the animal health
